01   COACHING

Mobility & Performance

Who is the Mobility & Performance Reset for?+

It's for people who want a more individual approach to their training, whether you want to move better, build strength and control, work on a specific skill or improve your overall physical performance.

What happens during the first 12 weeks?+

The first 12 weeks give me time to understand your goals, movement, training history and current limitations. Your coaching is then built around what you want to achieve and adapted as you progress.

What happens after the initial 12 weeks?+

After the initial block, you can continue with regular coaching sessions. Your training can continue to evolve as your movement, performance and goals change.

Where does coaching take place?+

I offer coaching on the Gold Coast from my private studio in Worongary and in Runaway Bay. We can discuss the most suitable location during your consultation.

Do I need to be experienced with training?+

No. Your coaching is based on your current ability, movement and goals. The starting point and progression are individual to you rather than based on a generic training program.

02   DNA TESTING

Genomic Wellness Test+

What is DNA testing for health and fitness?+

DNA testing looks at genetic variations that may be associated with different aspects of health, nutrition, exercise and physical performance.

I use this information as one part of a broader picture, alongside your goals, lifestyle, training history, current abilities and movement patterns to help personalise your approach.

DNA can help uncover blind spots, nutritional gaps and lifestyle factors that you may not have previously considered.

What does DNA testing cover?+

Your sample is genotyped across more than 160 SNPs (genetic variations) associated with a wide range of health, nutrition and performance factors.

Areas covered include lipid metabolism, metabolic syndrome and diabetes, inflammation, sodium sensitivity, Co-Enzyme Q10, Omega 3 and 6, vitamins, methylation, choline, caffeine metabolism, coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, oxidative stress, Phase I and Phase II detoxification, weight management and physiogenomics for sports and fitness.

How does DNA testing work?+

The process begins with a simple DNA sample, which is sent to an independent laboratory for analysis. Your results are then compiled into a report covering a range of genetic traits relevant to health, nutrition, training and performance.

Your data and information are kept private and are not shared with third parties.

I'll take you through your results and help translate the information into practical considerations for your training and lifestyle.

Does the program include blood work or pathology testing?+

The DNA test does not include pathology collection itself. Instead, I provide a list of recommended blood markers, which you can take to your GP or a local pathology provider to complete.

This provides additional information about what is currently happening in your body. In simple terms, your DNA can provide insight into genetic predispositions, while your blood results provide information about what is happening in your body now.

What can a DNA test tell me about my health and fitness?+

Your results can provide information about genetic variations associated with areas such as exercise response, recovery, nutrition, metabolism, detoxification, gut health, circadian rhythm and other health-related traits.

DNA results cannot provide a complete picture of your health or predict exactly how your body will respond. They are not diagnostic. Instead, they provide another layer of information that can be considered alongside your lifestyle, environment, training history and goals.

Can DNA testing help personalise my training?+

Yes. DNA testing can provide additional information that may help inform how your training is structured.

Rather than using genetics to dictate your program, I consider your DNA results alongside how you actually move, perform, recover and respond to training. Your program can then continue to evolve based on real-world progress.

Can DNA testing tell me how I respond to different types of exercise?+

Certain genetic variations have been associated with traits relevant to exercise and physical performance.

These results may provide additional insight into areas such as strength, power, endurance and recovery, but genetics are only one part of performance. Your training history, lifestyle, environment and individual response to exercise remain important.

Can DNA testing provide information about nutrition?+

DNA analysis can provide information about genetic variations associated with nutrient metabolism and other nutrition-related traits.

I can use these insights alongside your current diet, lifestyle and goals when considering your overall approach to nutrition. DNA results should not be viewed as a replacement for individual dietary or medical advice where this is required.

Can DNA testing help with recovery?+

DNA testing may provide information about genetic variations associated with factors relevant to exercise recovery. I combine these insights with practical factors such as your training load, sleep, nutrition, stress and how you actually recover between sessions when planning your training.

Can DNA testing tell me about my risk of injury?+

Some genetic variations have been studied in relation to traits that may be relevant to injury susceptibility, such as connective tissue and inflammation.

However, a DNA test cannot predict whether you will or won't be injured. Training load, technique, previous injuries, recovery, environment and many other factors contribute to injury risk.

How is the DNA sample collected?+

DNA collection is a simple and non-invasive saliva swab. You'll receive a DNA testing kit with instructions for collecting your sample before returning it to the laboratory for analysis.

Once your results are ready, I'll take you through your report and explain what the findings mean in practical terms.

How long do DNA test results take?+

Once your sample has been received by the laboratory, it needs to be processed and analysed before your report is produced. Results take roughly three weeks to come back.

Once your results are available, I'll schedule a consultation to take you through your report and help you understand the findings that are most relevant to you.

The aim isn't simply to hand you a large genetic report. It's to translate the information into useful insights that can be considered within your training, nutrition, recovery and broader lifestyle.

Will you explain my DNA test results to me?+

Yes. A key part of my DNA service is helping you understand what your results actually mean.

I'll take you through the relevant findings, explain how they may relate to your health and performance, and help you identify practical areas to focus on.

Is DNA testing useful if I already exercise and eat well?+

It can be. DNA testing isn't only for people beginning their health journey.

For someone who already trains consistently and pays attention to nutrition, genetic information may provide another layer of insight that can help you better understand individual differences and potentially refine aspects of your existing approach.

Do my genetics determine my health?+

No. Your genetics can influence certain traits and predispositions, but they don't determine your future.

Your health is influenced by a combination of genetics, lifestyle, environment, nutrition, physical activity and many other factors.

“The genes are the gun, lifestyle is the trigger.”

Can my lifestyle overcome genetic predispositions?+

Genes are not destiny. Having a genetic predisposition doesn't mean a particular outcome is inevitable.

Lifestyle factors such as exercise, nutrition, sleep and other behaviours can play an important role in health. My approach is to use genetic information as one piece of the puzzle rather than treating your DNA as a fixed set of instructions.

Do I need to be a coaching client?+

No. The Genomic Wellness Test+ can be completed as a standalone service, whether or not you currently train with me.

03   LONGEVITY

Longevity Partnership

Who is the Longevity Partnership for?+

The Longevity Partnership is for people who want more than individual training sessions. It brings personalised training, nutrition, recovery, lifestyle and ongoing health optimisation together in one long-term coaching relationship.

Do I need to complete the DNA test first?+

Yes. The Longevity Partnership begins with the Genomic Wellness Test+, giving me a clearer understanding of your individual biology before ongoing coaching begins. The test is a separate one-off investment of $1,099.

What happens after my DNA results are ready?+

I'll take you through your results and consider them alongside your blood markers and wider health information. These insights then help inform your ongoing approach to training, nutrition, recovery and lifestyle.

What is included in the Partnership each month?+

Your partnership includes two private coaching sessions each week, individual programming, a monthly nutrition and lifestyle review, a monthly performance call, ongoing tracking and feedback, and support between sessions.

What is the Quarterly Healthspan Review?+

Every quarter, I take a broader look at your progress, including relevant biometric and genomic information. This helps assess how your training and wider health strategy are working together and where the approach may need to evolve.

Is there a minimum commitment?+

Yes. Once you begin the Longevity Partnership, there is an initial three-month commitment. The Genomic Wellness Test+ is completed and paid for separately before the ongoing Partnership begins.

Where does the coaching take place?+

Private coaching is available on the Gold Coast from my private studio in Worongary and in Runaway Bay. We can discuss the most suitable setup during your consultation.
